~~~~~" I Hear The Bluebirds Song "~~~~~
A bird does not sing because he has an answer. He sings because he has a song . Joan Walsh Anglund taken from "A Cup of Sun"~1967.
Nothing stirs my heart more than the melodious sound of the bluebird's song ~I love it's heartfelt voice of "True-ly~True-ly"as he tenderly beckons~~come and see me~come and see me. Ever so softly I walk, so that I might catch a glimpse of~ his royal highness~~ dressed in his brilliant blue regal robe!!! AHHH~~~~SPRING~~~~AT LAST~~~~AWAKE ! ~AWAKE !~The earth is alive once more, the cold winter is past ~the snow is melted~the valley is alive with the sound of ~" THE BLUEBIRDS SONG "!
How I love this little winged king!
" His soft eyes of jet "
~His vest of rust and red~
His sweet song dances in my head !
At last...... the " KING and QUEEN of SPRING "!!!!!
And what's this ? Dare I hope of an heir to his royal throne~
Do I see ~three !!!!
~~~SWEET ROYAL FAMILY~~~

Grace me with your presence~~ please!

Would you nest in My trees ~PLEASE ?

~I'll be at your beckon call~Just ask ~ask ~ANYTHING at all !!!!!

My garden awaits your pleasure~

With sumptuous food without measureCOME!!!! ~~Partake of it's treasure!!!

Your table is ready with currants and flowers~berries, raisins and meal worms~~~
You could dine for hours!!!!

And when you are filled ~ I have but one request~~~~

That you'd sing me a song from that rust velvet breast !

Your sweet songs of Spring ~~~HAPPINESS~ YOU ~BRING !!!

~ AND WHEN THE DAY IS AT AN END ~

And the moon has cast her glow~~ My friend

You have a place the rest your head~~~

In the Dogwood by my shed !

~" SWEET DREAMS YOUR MAJESTY "~

This is an altered ~ Altoids tin ~I call it ~"BLUEBIRDS IN A BOX"~my work~I hope you enjoyed my token of Spring !!!!! BLESSINGS ::::::Deborah

Deborah,

That was absolutely beautiful, and your tin, talk about miniatures!!!
That is wonderful, and sooo small.
You must be so patient to work on something that small. One thing nice, doesn't take much room to do a vignette. =0)

I so appreciated getting up this morning finding a note from you, and oh so kind words.

Blessings on your Sunday.

Oh Deborah,
I love your bluebird, wouldn't thery be so pretty in my yellow bush?
Thanks for stopping by, Thank goodness I never picked that bush for a spanking that would really hurt like a whip....I learned quickly a wider one hurt less...

Deborah. I wanted to send you a email and its stating that my default mail something-another is not turned on. Will I ever figure this out (lol)! I like the idea of writing under each pic. I'm going to try it out tomorrow. If I can figure it out myself kudos to me, if not I may be calling on you. You are very kind.

I LOVE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE WITH THIS BOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh Deborah you did such a great job! I love Blue Birds too (almost all birds but Blue Birds are a favorite). Do you have them where you live? I have hoped we did but never seen one in my yard (front or back)& then last summer we went to dinner at the neighbor across the street & they had a family of Blue Birds in a house they had built for them. Hope you are feeling better. Thanks for popping by & your sweet note. HUGS!

Love what you have done with your piece-very, very creative! I love Blue birds myself and here in Texas they say they are hard to find. Well, I beg to differ. In my old neighborhood, my youngest daughter had a knack for finding newborn birds on the ground. I have become a bird "mom" to these sweet little things. I did take care of 2 bluebirds, 3 cardinals,8 tit wrens(wow-were they small and busy) a few sparrows and some other oddballs that were so cute. Thank goodness for the advances in formulas and small syringes for those wide-open mouths. I especially loved the Bluebirds and was heartbroken to release them-but I am happy to report no casualties and all birds flew off and I hope did well....
